Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
ValleyGameStudios, the company behind PokeValley, takes the protection of our users' data seriously. This policy explains, in plain language, which data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and with whom we share it.
By creating an account or using our website you agree to the terms described here. If you are a minor, please ask a guardian to read and approve this policy before proceeding.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files we store in your browser. We use essential cookies to keep your login session and preferences, and basic analytics cookies to understand how visitors navigate the site and improve the experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features — especially login — may stop working.
Data we collect
We split data into two categories: what you actively provide to us, and what your device or browser automatically transmits when you access our services.
Data you provide
| Data | When we collect it |
|---|---|
| Username, email and password | Initial account registration |
| Full name, tax ID, date of birth, address and phone | Payments and tax records — only when needed to process the transaction |
| Linked Discord account | Optional linking for rewards, roles and identification |
| Documents sent via support ticket | When you open a ticket requesting, for example, identity verification |
Data collected automatically
| Data | Source |
|---|---|
| IP address and approximate geographic location | Cloudflare's CF-IPCountry header, used to pick the currency shown at checkout (BRL/USD/EUR) |
| System information (OS, basic hardware, machine identifier) | Game client, for crash diagnostics and anti-cheat protection |
| Game sessions (login times, IP and device fingerprint) | Game server logs, used for moderation and fraud detection |
| Session and identification cookies | Browser, to keep login and preferences |
How we use your data
Account identification and security: email and password authenticate you; IP and device help us detect unauthorized access.
Communication: we use your email to send important notifications — receipts, roadmap updates, support. You can opt out of non-essential communications.
Payments: name and tax data are forwarded to the payment processor (Stripe or Beehive PIX), which finalizes the charge. We do not store card data — it goes directly to the processor.
Moderation: term violations may result in bans by account, IP or device. Session logs let us reverse actions of players who abused the service.
Diagnostics: crash logs and minimal client telemetry help us fix bugs and improve stability.
Localized experience: your IP is used to pick language and currency automatically, without storing geographic history.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We share only with essential providers needed to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing in USD and EUR
- Beehive — PIX payment processing in Brazil
- Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection and country detection from IP
- Discord — only when you voluntarily link your account
Payments via Stripe and Beehive are governed by those companies' policies. We receive only transaction confirmation and what is needed to issue tax receipts — we do not receive or store card data.
Your rights
You may request at any time:
- Access to a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal requirements for financial and tax records
- Opt-out of non-essential email communications
